Siegfried, Toronto 2016
A very stimulating production for another very cold winter night in Canada.
We are all like Siegfried, plants well rooted in heaven (long live Plato). And so our common past, memories, and heritage is not to be found in our roots, but in our "branches". A fantastic "enlightening" element in the stage direction of Wagner's third part of the Ring at the COC. The voices not as memorable as the ones I experienced in the Siegfried version in Berlin, Germany, some time ago.
Patience may prevail for the Twilight of the Gods (2017)...
